On August 19th, 1946, the 42nd president of the United States was born. William “Bill” Clinton was born and raised in Hope, Arkansas. He attended Georgetown University and Yale Law School before serving as the State Attorney General of Arkansas. He served two consecutive terms as President from 1992 to 2001. Though his presidency was marred by impeachment, he is widely acclaimed for his fiscal discipline, as he helped create conditions in the United States for a record-breaking 115 months of economic expansion.
